Venturers on Tuesday night (9/11/10) - change of plans
Because of this, I consulted with both Unit Chairmen, and they have decided on the Units' behalf to move our Theatresports night which was planned for 30th of November to this Tuesday instead.
Note, as our District Scout Wide Game night had already been moved to 30th November, we would have missed out on Theatresports, so now we still get to do it!
Anyway, here are the details:

When: 7:30pm - 9:30pm (normal time)

It's an ice rink, so you'll need to wear warm clothes. Avoid denim, because if it gets wet (which it will if you fall over) you'll stay cold all night.
Most importantly - if you are coming, you need to RSVP - I need to know how many car spaces I need to have organised. If you turn up and haven't told me you're coming, your parents will have to drive you in!
More details about the rink are at: http://www.icehouse.com.au/
See you all on Tuesday!

Hike 17-18 April
Just a reminder that we have a hike programmed from 17-18 of April. I am still available to come along to assist you (i.e. drive up x1 carload), and to help with planning.
However, I won't plan this hike. If you guys want to get it happening, it's up to you to get back to me with a plan of:
- Where do you want to go? - We were talking about the Cathedral Ranges
- How are we going to get there?
- What gear you're going to take (what do you need to borrow from the den/unit?)
- Organise maps (I may be able to help you out here, or at least point you in the right direction)
- Do you need to book campsites?
- Who's organising menus/food/cooking gear?
I'm more than happy to help out, but you guys need to be the one's with the momentum and the plans to get this hike happening.
Feel free to give me a call (number below) if you want to talk about this more. If I haven't heard from anyone by the end of Tuesday, I'll assume it's not on. Keep in mind Tuesday is cutting it VERY fine to begin organising... so if you're serious about this, get onto it now!
Cheers,
Rach
