Hey guys,

Combined Unit night is this Tuesday, the 13th, and will be held at Mirage's Hall at Centenary Park from 7.30pm run by Ettamogah Rovers. The night will consist of ice-cream sculpting, book-ended by wide games, or in case of inclement weather, winter games.

Hope to see you all for fun and frivolity on Tuesday

Camps

I have just sent out an email to everyone with details regarding upcoming camps.
Here is the shortened version:
  1. Unit camp on 17-18 October is not likely to run now due to severe lack of Venturers able to attend. If you want to come, tell me by the weekend. I need at least 5 Venturers to run this camp.

  2. I am looking to run a Venturing Skills hike (to replace the one on 17-18 October) on 31st Oct - 1st Nov (yes, this is Cup Weekend). Please let me know ASAP if you are available this weekend and would like to attend. All Venturers welcome, but if you still need to do a VS Hike, you should really make an effort to attend.

  3. Vic Gathering is the 1st weekend in December. Early bird ticket sales close Oct 24, so I need money to me by Oct 20. More details about VG can be found here

  4. Still investigated running some kind of interstate trip in the week between Christmas and New Year. Let me know if you would like to go, and if you have any ideas on what you'd like to do.

1st Night of 4th Term - Jessy's Party Night

Hi Everyone,

Our first night back is Jessy's birthday, so she's organising a party night!
The theme is Heroes and Villains, so please come in appropriate costume.
As it's a party, please also bring either a bottle of soft drink or some snacks to share.
It is normal time at the Hall, 7:30 - 9:30pm.

We will also be quickly discussing the 4th term program, and what activities are coming up this term.

See you all there!
